Where can I get cheap furniture in the GTA?
LUMA HOME is an online furniture store serving Toronto and the entire Greater Toronto Area, and our prices start well below most GTA retailers: bed frames from $69, mattresses from $79, complete dinette sets from $269, bunk beds from $269, and bed-plus-mattress bundles from $179. Delivery is free on every order with no minimum. Because we are online-only with no showroom, there is no retail rent or sales floor built into what you pay.
Is delivery really free?
Yes. Every order ships with free delivery and cash on delivery within the GTA. No delivery charge is added at checkout, and there is no fuel or handling surcharge.
How long does delivery take?
Most in-stock items arrive within 3 to 7 business days of order confirmation. After you order, we call or text the number on your order to book a delivery window that works for you. Someone aged 18 or over needs to be there to receive and sign for it. If you need something by a specific date, message us before ordering and we will tell you honestly whether we can make it.
What does delivery actually include?
Delivery is to your door or ground-floor entrance. To keep it free for everyone, standard delivery does not include carrying items up or down stairs, assembly or installation, removal of packaging, or taking away your old furniture. If you need any of those, ask us before ordering and we will quote it separately.
Which cities do you deliver to?
We deliver across Toronto (including North York, Scarborough, Etobicoke, East York and York), Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan (Woodbridge, Maple and Thornhill), Markham, Richmond Hill, Aurora, Newmarket, Stouffville, Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, Oshawa, Oakville, Burlington, Milton, Halton Hills, Georgetown and Caledon. If you are just outside these areas, send us your postal code and we will confirm.
Do you have a showroom I can visit?
No. LUMA HOME is online-only. We do not operate a showroom, a warehouse counter or a pickup location, and we cannot host in-person viewings. Every order is delivered to your address. This is deliberate — having no showroom is a large part of why our prices are what they are.

What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit cards and the standard digital wallets, processed through Shopify's secure checkout. Everything is priced and charged in Canadian dollars.
Can I return something if I change my mind?
Yes, within 14 days of delivery, provided the item is unused, unassembled, in its original packaging with all parts and hardware, and in resalable condition. For change-of-mind returns you are responsible for return shipping, and a restocking fee of up to 20% may apply to large items. Please contact us for approval before sending anything back. What if something arrives damaged?
Inspect your delivery before signing for it — if you see visible damage, note it on the paperwork and tell the driver. Then contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the damage and the packaging. If your claim is approved we will repair, replace, send parts, or refund, and we cover all shipping costs on approved damage claims.
Can I return a mattress?
Not once the packaging has been opened. Mattresses, box springs and futon mattresses cannot be accepted back for hygiene reasons, even if unused. This is standard across Canadian retailers. Unopened mattresses in original packaging can be returned within 14 days under our change-of-mind terms.
Is there a warranty?
Products are covered by the manufacturer's warranty where one applies. Your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2002 (Ontario) apply in addition and are not limited by our policies. If something fails that shouldn't have, contact us and we will help you sort it.
Do your beds need a box spring?
Many don't. Platform beds support the mattress directly on slats or a solid base, so no box spring is needed. Every product page states clearly whether a bed is a platform design or requires a box spring. If it isn't clear, ask us before you order.
What do bed sizes like 39", 54", 60" and 78" mean?
Canadian furniture retailers usually list beds by mattress width in inches. 39" is a Single (Twin), 54" is a Double (Full), 60" is a Queen, and 78" is a King. Twin XL measures 39" x 80" and appears mainly on adjustable bases.
Is assembly required?
Yes, for most items. Furniture ships flat-packed with hardware and instructions included, and most pieces go together in under an hour with basic tools. We do not currently offer an assembly service.
Can I buy just the table, or just the chairs?
Often, yes. Many dining sets, coffee table sets, sofa sets and bedroom collections list individual pieces as separate options on the product page — check the options dropdown before assuming you have to buy the whole set. Individual dining chairs, for example, start at $44.
Will it fit in my condo elevator?
Most of it will. Flat-packed frames and boxed mattresses are designed to move through condo hallways and standard elevators. Product pages list dimensions. If your building needs a booked service elevator or a certificate of insurance — many downtown Toronto buildings do — tell us when you order so we can arrange it in advance.
Please do measure first. If an item cannot be delivered because it will not fit, that is treated as a change-of-mind return and return charges apply.

Why is your furniture cheaper than a regular furniture store?
Three reasons. We have no showroom and no retail lease. We source directly from established furniture wholesalers rather than through a chain of middlemen. And we run lean, with low overhead. The savings go into the price instead of into a building.
